Corteiz cargos and Alcatraz hoodie: history, sizing and prices on Yupoo
Corteiz started with a few T-shirts in London in 2017, and today its cargos and Alcatraz logo are everywhere. Here's the story, how to pick your size in cargos or a hoodie, the official prices and how to compare Yupoo sellers' listings with Yupa.
The Corteiz story
Corteiz is a London brand launched in 2017 by Clint Ogbenna, better known as Clint419. At first there were only a few screen-printed T-shirts and sweatshirts with one logo: the outline of Alcatraz Island, the old prison in San Francisco Bay. For Clint, it stands for a society that locks you in, and the urge to break out. The "Rules The World" slogan showed up on the clothes soon after.
The brand grew without classic advertising. The website is locked behind a password, given out at each drop. And it kept pulling stunts: in 2022, "Da Great Bolo Exchange" let people swap their puffer for a Corteiz Bolo (the collected jackets were then given to homeless people), and a market stall sold new cargos for 99p, as long as you paid the exact amount.
In 2023, Corteiz released three Nike Air Max 95s (Gutta Green, Pink Beam and Aegean Storm), launched in London, New York and Paris, then a collection with Supreme. On the clothing side, the cargos and Alcatraz logo hoodies are what you see most.
The pieces that matter
Corteiz releases its pieces in drops, and the colourways change often. These are the names to know:
| Piece | What to know |
| Guerillaz cargo | The best-known cargo: 100% cotton ripstop, relaxed fit, screen-printed logo on the back pockets |
| Alcatraz cargo | Another cargo from the brand, with the island logo |
| Alcatraz hoodie | The hoodie with the island logo, in black and white or all black (Triple Black) depending on the drop |
| Alcatraz Heavy Knit Zip Hoodie | A zip-up version in thick knit, more expensive |
| Alcatraz tracksuit | The matching top and bottoms |
How to pick your size
Corteiz cargos are sized by waist, in inches, like jeans: 28 to 40 on the official site. The fit is relaxed, so on the roomy side. On the site, the model is 1.75 m (5'9") and wears a 32.
- Cargos: start from your usual jeans waist size (W). A French size 42 trouser is often around a 32.
- The inseam is about 30 inches (76 cm) up to size 34, and 31 inches (79 cm) above that. If you're tall, the hem will sit higher.
- Between two sizes, look at the waist measured flat in the seller's size chart rather than just the number.
- Hoodie: compare the flat width and length with a hoodie that fits you well, instead of trusting the S, M or L label.
- In Yupoo albums, sellers sometimes use their own charts: always check the measurements in centimetres (see /guides/tailles-chinoises).
What it costs in store, and on Yupoo
On Corteiz's official site, prices are in pounds. In 2026, the Guerillaz cargo is about £115, the Alcatraz cargo about £120 and the Alcatraz hoodie about £115, so roughly €130 to €140 depending on the exchange rate. Everything goes out in drops, and pieces sell out fast.
On Yupoo, the price of the same model varies a lot from one seller to another. Yupa shows the price each seller lists, converted to euros, without changing it. That price isn't everything: add your agent's fees, shipping and sometimes customs (all explained in /guides/douane-colis-chine).
To compare two listings, look at how many photos there are and how good they are, whether there's a size chart in centimetres, and the listed weight: ripstop cargos and a thick hoodie add up in shipping costs.
| Piece | Official price (approx., 2026) |
| Guerillaz cargo | £115 (about €130) |
| Alcatraz cargo | £120 (about €140) |
| Alcatraz hoodie | £115 (about €130) |
| Alcatraz tracksuit | £205 (about €235) |
Finding it on Yupoo with Yupa
Instead of opening Yupoo stores one by one, type the model name into Yupa. We search sellers' public catalogues and always send you to their album. The full method is in /blog/chercher-sur-yupoo.
- Search "corteiz cargo", "guerillaz" or "corteiz alcatraz hoodie". Try "crtz" too, the brand's short form, which shows up in some album names.
- Filter by type (trousers or hoodies) and by size to keep only what fits you.
- Compare stores: price in euros, number of photos, size chart or not.
- Open the seller's album to see every photo and their contact details.
- Write down the album reference before you message the seller or go through your agent.
How to wear them and look after them
The Guerillaz cargo is worn loose, stacking on the shoe. With a slightly roomy tee or hoodie and a pair of running sneakers, you've got the look most people who wear the brand go for. The Alcatraz hoodie works with cargos or joggers in the same shade.
To look after them, wash cargos and hoodies inside out and cold to keep the screen-printed logo sharp, and skip the tumble dryer: cotton can shrink.
How do Corteiz cargos fit?
They're sized by waist in inches, from 28 to 40. The fit is relaxed, so roomy. Start from your usual jeans size and check the waist measured flat.
How much are Corteiz cargos?
On the official site, about £115 to £120 in 2026, so roughly €130 to €140. On Yupoo, each seller sets their own price, and Yupa shows it converted to euros without changing it.
What's the difference between the Guerillaz and Alcatraz cargos?
They're two cargos from the brand. The Guerillaz is the best known, in cotton ripstop with the logo on the back pockets; the Alcatraz puts the island logo up front. Details change from drop to drop, so look closely at the album photos.
