Yupoo password, locked albums and pages that won't load: what to do
You click a Yupoo link and get a password prompt, a blank page, or photos that won't show. In most cases it's nothing serious. There are five or six possible causes, and each has its fix. Let's go through them one by one.
First, look at what you're seeing
Before trying everything, check the symptom. It almost always points to the cause:
| What you see | Likely cause | What to do |
| A password field (sometimes in Chinese) | Album or store locked by the seller | Ask the seller for the password |
| An album-not-found message | Album deleted or moved | Look for the item in the store or elsewhere |
| The whole store is gone | The seller changed address | Find the new address |
| The page loads very slowly | Distant servers, busy network | Wait, switch networks |
| Text shows but photos don't | An extension or network blocking images | Try a private window without extensions |
Password-protected albums
Yupoo lets sellers lock an album, a category or sometimes the whole store. You then see a small field asking for a password, sometimes with Chinese text (密码 means 'password').
It's not a bug and there's no universal password. The seller chooses to hide certain items, for example new arrivals or a range kept for regular customers. Don't waste time on password lists found on forums: they're usually outdated.
The only real fix: ask the seller. Go to the store's home page, at the top or in the intro column. You'll usually find a WhatsApp number, a WeChat ID or a QR code. Some sellers even post the password right on that page, or in the description of an open album.
Example message: 'Hello, one of your Yupoo albums asks for a password, could you share it? Thanks.' Short and polite gets the fastest reply. Many sellers read messages through a translator, so plain English works better than slang. If you're interested in a specific item, add a screenshot of it: when several albums are locked, it tells the seller which one you mean.
Deleted or moved albums
Sellers clean up regularly. An out-of-stock item disappears, an album gets merged into another, a collection gets reorganised. The link you saved now leads to a blank page or an error.
In that case, go back to the store's home page (the part of the address before /albums) and look for the item in the categories or with the store's search bar. If it's not there, message the seller with a screenshot of the old album: they may have a new link, or tell you the item is no longer available.
The store changed its address
A Yupoo store lives at an address like storename.x.yupoo.com. If the seller renames their account or opens a new one, the old address stops working. Every link you saved breaks at once.
To find the store again, contact the seller on WhatsApp or WeChat if you had their details, or search for the store name on a search engine. Watch out for copycats: check that the photos and contact details match what you knew.
Yupoo not working or loading very slowly
Yupoo is a Chinese service, and from Europe some pages take a while to load, especially albums full of large photos. Sometimes it's just the time of day or your network.
Before deciding Yupoo is down, try these steps in order:
- Reload after a minute, then try again later in the day.
- Switch from Wi-Fi to your phone's mobile data, or the other way round.
- If you use a VPN, turn it off to test. If you don't, some networks work better with one.
- Open the album directly rather than the store home page, which loads lots of images at once.
- Clear the browser cache for the site if an old version seems stuck.
Text shows up but photos don't
If you see titles and descriptions but empty frames where the photos should be, the problem is almost always on your side. Yupoo images are served from different addresses than the page, and some tools block them.
Ad blockers and privacy extensions are the first suspects. Open the same link in a private window with no extensions: if the photos appear, turn your extensions off one by one to find the culprit, or whitelist Yupoo.
School or office networks and some parental filters also block image domains. Test on mobile data. One last case: a Yupoo image copied somewhere else (a forum, say) may not display, because Yupoo restricts showing its photos on other sites. Open the original album instead.
On your phone
On mobile the same causes apply, plus one more: the built-in browser inside apps (Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok) handles some sites badly. If a Yupoo link opened from an app stays blank, pick 'open in browser' from the page menu. That fixes a lot of cases. And if pages still feel heavy, close other tabs: big albums can eat a lot of memory on older phones, and the browser may stop loading images halfway.
Finding an item without chasing links
Albums that move, stores that change address: that's everyday life on Yupoo. It's partly why Yupa exists. It indexes the public catalogues of more than 200 stores, keeps items searchable by keyword, and every listing links to the seller's current album, with the price converted to euros. If you're just starting, /blog/yupoo-cest-quoi covers the basics, and /guides/commander-sur-yupoo walks you through to the order.
How do I get a Yupoo album password?
Ask the seller, via the WhatsApp, WeChat or QR code shown on their store's home page. Some post it right on that page. There's no password that works for every store.
Why is Yupoo not working for me?
Usually it's slowness due to distant servers, a network that filters content, or an extension blocking images. Try a private window, then your mobile data.
Why are Yupoo images not loading?
An ad blocker or privacy extension often blocks the images. If the image comes from another site, Yupoo may prevent it from showing: open the original album.
A Yupoo album disappeared, is it gone for good?
Not necessarily. It may have been moved or renamed. Search the store, then message the seller with a screenshot of the item. It may also be out of stock.
Is Yupoo blocked in Europe?
No, Yupoo is reachable from Europe. If it won't load, it's usually your network, a filter or an extension, or a temporary slowdown.
