Is ACBuy legit? What it really costs to ship a 300 ¥ order

Updated 31/10/2026

“Is ACBuy legit?” is what most people ask before pasting their first link into this agent. We don't rate agents and we earn nothing from ACBuy. We read its site, noted its shipping lines, looked at its reviews and ran our own calculator. Here is what can be checked, and what stays unclear.

The short version

ACBuy is a shopping agent: it buys for you on Weidian, Taobao or 1688, stores your items and ships the parcel to you. On October 21, 2026, its site promised 3 to 5 free QC photos and 90 days of free storage, with four duty-paid DHL lines to France. Its service fee, though, couldn't be read without an account. For a pair of shoes at 300 ¥, its best line measured on its own site comes 36th of 93 options, at €87.60 delivered. Legit doesn't mean cheapest: compare before you pay.

What is ACBuy, exactly?

ACBuy doesn't make anything and doesn't sell anything in its own name. It's a middleman, like KakoBuy or CNFans. You give it the link to a Weidian or Taobao item, often found in a Yupoo album. It buys the item from the seller, receives it at its warehouse in China, shows you photos, then keeps your items until you ask for shipping.

One difference from other agents: on October 21, 2026, ACBuy's search sent you straight to the login page. Without an account, you couldn't see an item page there. The seller stays the same whichever agent you use. The full process is in How to buy from Yupoo: from album to parcel at your door, in 5 steps.

What we checked on its site

On October 21, 2026, we read ACBuy's home page and its shipping calculator for a parcel of clothing delivered to France. Here is what they said that day:

  • QC photos: 3 to 5 free, according to the home page. The price of extra photos wasn't shown.
  • Storage: 90 days free. We didn't find what happens after that, or at what price.
  • Lines to France: four DHL lines marked “Duty Free”, so customs included, with 9 to 18 working days stated. Plus one DPD line for large parcels.
  • Insurance: the “Duty Free” lines showed “Free Insurance”. The maximum payout wasn't stated.
  • Volumetric weight: length × width × height, divided by 8,000. A bulky box can be billed heavier than it really is.
  • Discount: the calculator showed an expected discount of $17.59 on every line. We don't know who it applies to, so we didn't count it.

Not found that day: the service fee, payment fees and the storage price after 90 days. The help pages stayed empty without logging in. Ask customer service before your first order.

What the reviews say

On October 31, 2026, ACBuy had a 4.5 out of 5 rating on Trustpilot, from 972 reviews. The page says it replies to 100% of negative reviews. A good score doesn't tell the whole story, so read the bad ones too:

  • Recurring complaints: late parcels, shipping costs seen as expensive, tracking that stops updating, and a few parcels lost or returned after a customs or address problem.
  • ACBuy's replies visible that day were short and mostly pointed to customer service.
  • Many “Is ACBuy legit?” pages come from sites that earn a commission on what you buy. Check who's writing before you trust a score.
  • The agent checks what it sees in photos. It guarantees neither the size nor the authenticity of an item. Reading the QC photos is your job (see QC photos: GL or RL? The checklist before your parcel ships).
  • You're buying from a Chinese seller, outside your country's consumer rules. Returns are harder and more expensive than with a local shop.

What a pair of shoes costs delivered with ACBuy

On October 31, 2026, we asked Yupa's calculator (Delivered price calculator) for the delivered price of a pair of shoes at 300 ¥, or €39.60 at that day's rate (1 ¥ = €0.132). Estimated parcel weight 1,550 g with packaging, billed as 2,000 g, because agents round up to the next weight step. Out of 93 options compared, ACBuy's best line measured on its own site comes 36th, the next one 40th:

AgentShipping lineStated delivery timeDuties and VATDelivered price
SuperbuyYunExpress Air Cargo (General)14 to 21 daysIncluded€64.19
KakoBuyEurope Tariffless Line -K5 to 15 daysIncluded€76.74
ACBuyEuro DHL Duty Free EC-M9 to 14 working daysIncluded€87.60
ACBuyEuro DHL Duty Free EC-Y12 to 16 working daysIncluded€90.25

Shipping rates noted on October 21, 2026 from the agents' calculators, for delivery to France. At ACBuy, the EC-M line cost $54.18 for 2 kg, or €48.00 of shipping. Since its service fee isn't public, the calculator counts none: the real total may be higher. Our database also holds a lower estimate for this line, from another site and not confirmed on ACBuy's: we left it out. With a different weight, the ranking changes.

What is an ACBuy spreadsheet?

Search “ACBuy spreadsheet” and you'll find lots of shared tables, often on Google Sheets or Google Sites. They list items with a photo, a price and a link. The link doesn't open the seller's album: it opens the item page on ACBuy, often with a referral code in the address. The person who made the table then gets a cut of what you spend.

Handy for ideas. But a fixed list ages fast, and an up-to-date search does better:

  • New items never make it in. As of October 31, 2026, 14,494 listings had been posted in 30 days across the 220 stores Yupa follows (see Yupoo barometer).
  • Links die: a removed item or a changed Weidian link, and the row leads nowhere.
  • The listed price dates from the day the row was added, not the day you order.
  • It pushes you to one agent and never shows the delivered price, with shipping, customs and VAT.
  • At ACBuy, viewing an item required an account on October 21, 2026: click a row and you land on a login page.

Customs when you order through ACBuy

Using an agent doesn't make customs go away. For a parcel with a declared value under €150, the European Union has charged a €3 duty per item category since July 1, 2026. From November 1, 2026, a €2 handling fee per item is added. Your country's VAT is still due: 20% in France, 23% in Poland. Outside the EU, your own country's rules apply.

ACBuy posted a notice about these rules on June 18, 2026: €3 per item category per parcel, cumulative, collected with shipping from June 21. On its “Duty Free” lines, customs and VAT are built into the shipping price: nothing to pay the courier. We found no ACBuy notice about the €2 fee from November 1. Details are in Customs on parcels from China in 2026: €3 duty, €2 fee, VAT, worked out.

Ordering with ACBuy without nasty surprises

  • Start with a small order, one or two items, to see how photos and shipping go.
  • Before paying, ask customer service for the service and payment fees. They weren't public on October 21, 2026.
  • Read the QC photos before you approve shipping. For sizes, compare the measurements with Chinese sizes: a medium runs from 96 to 124 cm, here's how to get it right.
  • Compare the delivered price, not just shipping. The calculator at Delivered price calculator puts ACBuy against other agents, line by line.
  • Watch the volumetric weight: an oversized box can push you to the next step.
  • Note when your items reach the warehouse: free storage lasts 90 days.
  • Look at a link's full address before clicking. If it has a referral code, someone gets paid on your order.

Where Yupa fits in

Yupa has no link with ACBuy and earns no commission from it or any other agent. We search the sellers' own albums, show the seller's price in euros, and you then paste the item link into the agent of your choice, with no referral code.

Our KakoBuy review is at Is KakoBuy legit? What we actually checked, and our agent comparison at KakoBuy, CNFans, ACBuy, MuleBuy, HooBuy: shopping agents compared. And if you'd rather find the item first, Yupa search covers more than a million Yupoo listings, with the delivered price next to each one.

Frequently asked questions

Is ACBuy legit?

What we checked: 3 to 5 free QC photos, 90 days of storage and duty-paid lines to France (noted October 21, 2026), and a 4.5 out of 5 Trustpilot rating from 972 reviews (October 31, 2026). That doesn't guarantee every order: start small and read the QC photos.

How much does an ACBuy order cost delivered?

For a pair of shoes at 300 ¥ (1,550 g, billed as 2,000 g), its EC-M line came to €87.60 delivered to France, duties and VAT included, on October 31, 2026. That's 36th of 93 options: other agents were cheaper for this parcel. Its service fee isn't counted, as it isn't public.

Does ACBuy charge a service fee?

We couldn't verify it: on October 21, 2026, its fee pages stayed empty without an account. Ask customer service before paying, along with the payment fees.

What is an ACBuy spreadsheet?

A shared table, often on Google Sheets, listing items with links to ACBuy. Those links often carry a referral code, and the list ages fast: dead links, outdated prices, missing new items.

Do I pay customs with ACBuy?

In the EU, not on its “Duty Free” lines: customs and VAT are built into shipping. On another line, you pay on delivery: €3 per item category, a €2 fee per item from November 1, 2026, plus your country's VAT.
