Is CNFans legit? Its site is down for maintenance: what we checked

In short

CNFans is a shopping agent: it buys for you on Weidian, Taobao or 1688 and ships the parcel to you. On October 21, 2026, and again on October 31, 2026, cnfans.com showed a Website maintenance notice page talking about repeated cyberattacks, with no return date. As a result, its fees, storage and shipping lines can't be read right now, and CNFans doesn't appear in our delivered price calculator. If you already have items there, write to its support. If you haven't ordered yet, wait for the site to come back and compare before you pay.

What is CNFans, exactly?

CNFans doesn't make or sell anything under its own name. It's a middleman, like KakoBuy or Superbuy. You paste the link of a Weidian or Taobao item, often found in a Yupoo album. CNFans buys it from the seller, receives it in its warehouse in China, shows you photos, then ships it when you ask.

So you pay the agent: the item price, domestic shipping in China, international shipping and any extras you pick. The seller doesn't change. If CNFans is closed, the item is usually still on sale at the seller, and another agent can buy it with the same link. The full process is in How to buy from Yupoo: from album to parcel at your door, in 5 steps.

What we found on cnfans.com

We tried to note CNFans fees on October 21, 2026, as we did for the other agents in our comparison. We went back on October 31, 2026. Both times, the same picture:

• A Website maintenance notice page instead of the site, with a maintenance in progress banner.
• The text says the site is under persistent cyberattacks that the team hasn't fully brought under control yet. That's CNFans' own claim: we found no outside source confirming or detailing it.
• No reopening date.
• A support email address for questions about orders.
• No fees to read: no service fee, no storage, no QC photos, no shipping lines.

So as of today, we don't know what CNFans charges. Any CNFans fee figure you read elsewhere was noted before the maintenance, or can't be checked on its site right now.

So, is CNFans legit?

A maintenance page doesn't mean a scam. A site under attack may close to protect its customers. But while it's closed, there's nothing to judge on. Here's what we can tell you:

• On the site, as long as this page shows, there's no ordering and no tracking. We didn't check its app. If you have items in the warehouse, keep your order numbers and write to support.
• During an outage, be wary of links sent in messages or posted in comments promising the new CNFans. Type the address yourself, and never give your password anywhere else.
• Even when the site runs, the agent checks what it sees in photos. It doesn't guarantee an item's quality, size or authenticity. Read the QC photos (see QC photos: GL or RL? The checklist before your parcel ships).
• You're buying outside the European Union, from a Chinese seller. Returns are harder and more expensive than in Europe.
• Many CNFans reviews online come from accounts paid on your purchases through a referral code. Check who's writing before you trust a rating.

The real delivered price for ¥300 (and why CNFans isn't in it)

On October 31, 2026, we asked the Yupa calculator (Delivered price calculator) for the delivered price of a pair of shoes at ¥300, which was €39.60 at the day's rate (¥1 = €0.132). Parcel estimated at 1,550 g with packaging, delivered to France. It compared 93 options across 21 agents. CNFans isn't one of them: with no fees to read, we'd rather calculate nothing than make something up. As a benchmark, here is the cheapest line, and where KakoBuy lands (8th):

Shipping rates taken on October 21, 2026 from the agents' calculators. On these lines, the agent pays duties and VAT. When CNFans reopens and we can read its lines, it will join the calculation. The KakoBuy details are in Is KakoBuy legit? What we actually checked.

What is a CNFans spreadsheet?

CNFans spreadsheet is one of the most searched phrases around this agent. A spreadsheet is a shared table, often on Google Sheets, listing items with a photo, a price and a link. The link doesn't open the seller's album: it opens the item page at CNFans, often with a referral code in the address. The person who made the table then gets a cut of what you spend.

The problem is concrete: while cnfans.com is in maintenance, those links lead to a closed page. And even when the site runs, a frozen list ages fast:

• Sellers' new items never make it in. On October 30, 2026, 13,705 listings had been posted in 30 days in the shops Yupa follows (see Yupoo barometer).
• Links die: an item gets removed or a Weidian link changes, and the row leads nowhere.
• The listed price dates from the day the row was added, not the day you order.
• It only shows one agent, and never the delivered price with shipping, duties and VAT.

An up-to-date search starts from the seller's album: you find the item, see today's price, and pick the agent afterwards. If one of them is closed, you move on to the next.

Customs, with CNFans or another agent

Using an agent doesn't make customs go away. For a parcel with a declared value under €150, the European Union charges €3 of duty per item category since July 1, 2026. From November 1, 2026, add a €2 handling fee per item. Your country's VAT is still due: 20% in France, 23% in Poland.

Some agents have duty-included lines: they settle everything and add it to the shipping, so there's nothing to pay the courier. Today we don't know which lines CNFans offers, or whether they include duties. Ask before you choose. Details are in Customs on parcels from China in 2026: €3 duty, €2 fee, VAT, worked out.

Before you order with CNFans (or anywhere else)

• Check that cnfans.com shows its actual site, not the maintenance page, before you top up your account.
• If you have items stuck in the warehouse, write to support and keep a record of your order numbers and payments.
• Start with a small order, one or two items, to see how photos and shipping go.
• Ask for QC photos and take the time to read them before approving shipment.
• Check your size before buying: Chinese sizes don't always match European ones (see Chinese sizes: a medium runs from 96 to 124 cm, here's how to get it right).
• Compare the delivered price, not just shipping. Delivered price calculator puts agents side by side, line by line.
• Look at a link's full address before clicking. If it contains a referral code, someone is getting paid on your order.
• Always pay on the agent's site, never by direct transfer to a seller you don't know.

Where Yupa fits in

Yupa has no link with CNFans and earns no commission from it or any other agent. We search the sellers' own albums, show the seller's price in euros, and you then paste the item link into the agent of your choice, with no referral code. If CNFans is closed the day you want to order, you don't lose your find.

Our comparison of KakoBuy, CNFans, ACBuy, MuleBuy and others is in KakoBuy, CNFans, ACBuy, MuleBuy, HooBuy: shopping agents compared. And if you'd rather find the item first, Yupa search covers more than a million Yupoo listings, with the delivered price next to each one.
