Is MuleBuy legit? What we could check, and what we couldn't

Updated 31/10/2026

"Is MuleBuy legit?" is the question everyone asks before pasting their first link into this agent. We don't rate agents and we earn nothing from MuleBuy. We tried to read its site, looked at what reviews say and ran our calculator. The result: fewer certainties than with other agents. Here's exactly which ones.

In short

MuleBuy is a buying agent: it buys for you on Weidian, Taobao or 1688 and ships the parcel. On 21/10/2026 its homepage stayed blank, so we couldn't read its fees, storage or shipping lines. On 31/10/2026 it still didn't load for us. On the review side, Trustpilot showed 4.7 out of 5 from 2,950 reviews that day, but MuleBuy invites its own customers to review. Nothing alarming proven, nothing guaranteed either. Get the fees in writing, start small and compare the delivered price.

What is MuleBuy, exactly?

MuleBuy makes nothing and sells nothing in its own name. It's a middleman, like KakoBuy or CNFans. You paste the link of a Weidian or Taobao item, often found in a Yupoo album. It buys from the seller, receives the item at its warehouse in China, shows you photos, then ships when you ask.

The seller is the same whichever agent you use. What changes from one agent to the next: fees, shipping lines, storage and customer service. The full process is in How to buy from Yupoo: from album to parcel at your door, in 5 steps.

What we could check, and what we couldn't

For every agent, we record fees straight from its own site. With MuleBuy, that didn't work:

  • 21/10/2026: mulebuy.com loads but stays blank, no text, no links. Two tries, two empty pages. Maybe an anti-bot shield, we don't know.
  • 31/10/2026: another try, the page doesn't respond at all.
  • Service fee, per-item fee, free QC photos, storage period, insurance: none of it could be recorded.
  • Shipping lines to France: none recorded, so no MuleBuy rate in our calculator.

We're not saying MuleBuy is down for everyone: the reviews show people do order there. We're saying we couldn't read its rates ourselves. Before your first order, ask customer service in writing for the service fee, the number of free QC photos and the storage period.

What online reviews say

On 31/10/2026, MuleBuy's Trustpilot page showed 4.7 out of 5 from 2,950 reviews, 84% of them 5 stars. A high score is a decent sign. But the profile has been claimed by the company since May 2024, and it invites customers to leave a review. When that happens, scores tend to lean positive.

The most useful part is the 1-star reviews, 4% of the total that day. MuleBuy replied to 54% of negative reviews. What keeps coming up:

  • parcels stuck for weeks on the same status, with no tracking;
  • customer service not answering tickets or chat;
  • balance refunds that never arrive;
  • shipping billed far higher at the warehouse than the first estimate;
  • items missing on arrival.

Trustpilot doesn't fact-check these stories. And many "MuleBuy review" pages come from sites earning a commission on your orders. Check who's writing before you trust a verdict.

Delivered price for 300 ¥: MuleBuy can't be priced

On 31/10/2026, we asked Yupa's calculator (Delivered price calculator) for the delivered price of a pair of shoes at 300 ¥, or €39.60 at the day's rate (1 ¥ = €0.132). Parcel estimated at 1,550 g with packaging, billed at 2,000 g, because agents round up to the next weight step. Result: 93 options across 16 agents. MuleBuy isn't one of them, since no rate was recorded. For reference:

AgentShipping lineStated timeDuties and VATDelivered price

PonyBuyP&B Express (Tax Free)6 to 10 daysIncluded€76.03

Shipping rates recorded on 21/10/2026 from the agents' calculators, for delivery to France. The PonyBuy and KakoBuy lines are estimates to confirm with the agent. If MuleBuy gives you a quote, compare it with these lines at the same weight. A different weight changes the ranking.

What is a "MuleBuy spreadsheet"?

Search "MuleBuy spreadsheet" and you'll land on shared tables, often on Google Sheets. Each row: a photo, a price, a link. The link doesn't open the seller's album, it opens the item page on MuleBuy, often with a referral code in the URL. The table's author then gets a cut of what you spend.

Handy for ideas. But a frozen list has limits:

  • Sellers add items all the time. The table only moves when its author remembers to update it.
  • Links die: an item pulled or a Weidian link that changes, and the row leads nowhere.
  • The price shown dates from the day the row was added, not the day you order.
  • It locks you into one agent and never shows the delivered price with shipping, customs and VAT.

An up-to-date search does the opposite: it starts from the sellers' albums, keeps the original price and lets you pick the agent afterwards.

Customs when you use MuleBuy

Using an agent doesn't make customs go away. For a parcel under €150 declared value, the EU charges a €3 duty per item category since 1 July 2026. From 1 November 2026, add a €2 handling fee per item. Your country's VAT still applies: 20% in France.

Some agents offer duties-included lines: they pay all that and add it to shipping, nothing to pay the courier. We couldn't check whether MuleBuy offers one to your country, or at what price. Ask before shipping. Details in Customs on parcels from China in 2026: €3 duty, €2 fee, VAT, worked out.

Ordering with MuleBuy without nasty surprises

  • Ask customer service in writing for the service fee, free QC photos, storage period and refund terms.
  • Start with a small order, one or two items, to see how photos and shipping go.
  • Read the QC photos before approving shipping, and check sizing with Chinese sizes: a medium runs from 96 to 124 cm, here's how to get it right: Chinese sizes often mean going one size up.
  • Compare the delivered price, not just shipping. The Delivered price calculator calculator gives you a benchmark from other agents.
  • Keep screenshots of the shipping quote, your order numbers and your chats with support. They help if a parcel gets stuck.
  • Look at the full URL of a link before clicking. If it has a referral code, someone gets paid on your order.
  • Always pay on the agent's site, never by direct transfer to a seller you don't know.

Where does Yupa fit in?

Yupa has no link with MuleBuy and earns no commission from it or any other agent. We find items in the sellers' own albums, show the seller's price in euros, and you then paste the link at the agent of your choice, no referral code.

If you're torn between agents, the comparison is in KakoBuy, CNFans, ACBuy, MuleBuy, HooBuy: shopping agents compared, and our full KakoBuy check is in Is KakoBuy legit? What we actually checked. And to find the item first, Yupa's search covers over a million Yupoo listings, with the delivered price alongside.

Frequently asked questions

Is MuleBuy legit?

We can't guarantee it. On 31/10/2026, Trustpilot showed 4.7 out of 5 from 2,950 reviews, but the company invites its own customers to review, and the negative reviews mention stuck parcels and slow support. Its site didn't load for us on 21/10 or on 31/10. Start small and keep a record of everything.

What are MuleBuy's fees?

We couldn't record them: on 21/10/2026 its homepage stayed blank, and on 31/10/2026 it didn't respond. Service fee, free QC photos, storage, insurance: ask customer service in writing before your first order.

What is a MuleBuy spreadsheet?

A shared table, often on Google Sheets, listing items with a link to MuleBuy. Those links often carry a referral code, and the list goes stale fast: dead links, outdated prices, new items missing.

Why isn't MuleBuy in Yupa's calculator?

The calculator only shows rates recorded on the agents' own sites. On 21/10/2026 we couldn't read a single MuleBuy shipping line: no rate, no price. For 300 ¥ delivered to France, it compares 93 options across 16 other agents.

Do I pay customs with MuleBuy?

It depends on the shipping line. On a duties-included line, the agent pays and adds it to shipping. Otherwise you pay on delivery in the EU: €3 per item category, a €2 fee from 1 November 2026, plus your country's VAT. We couldn't check which lines MuleBuy offers.
